Seido Karate
Seido Juku is a traditional Japanese style of karate. It was founded in 1976 by one of the world’s top exponents of the Art, Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura with the aim of developing individuals of the highest moral character while maximising each student’s physical skills. In the words of Kaicho T. Nakamura “My purpose in founding Seido Karate was to show what I feel is the true essence, the kernel of true karate-do: the training of body, mind, and spirit together in order to realize the fullness of human potential.”
Seido, or “sincere way”, seeks to develop a non-quitting attitude in each student through the practice of karate. This spirit of fortitude extends into every aspect of their lives, emotional, physical and professional, so no matter what obstacle is faced, Seido practitioners feel they can overcome it.
